Bubble Wrap or air bubble film is a transparent plastic packaging material that is mainly used to pack fragile items. The bubbles have regularly spaced protruding air-filled hemispheres which function as the cushioning agent for sensitive and easily breakable objects. The bubble wrappers are available in various sizes.

Types of Bubble Wrap

  • Small size bubble wrap is usually used to pack delicate items such as glassware, electronics,  and so on.
  • Large size bubble wrap films are usually used as padding for objects such as furniture and other office and household items.
  • Bubble wrap envelopes are used to package CDs, books, etc. The envelope lined with bubble wrap films provides these items with maximum protection against shock and vibrations.
  • Anti-static bubble wrap is used to wrap electronic items such as television, computers, laptops, cell phones and so on to protect the items against static electricity.

About Stretch Films

What is Stretch Wrap Film Used For?

Palletized Boxes – Various varieties and sizes of palletized boxes are wrapped using stretch film. Probably the most common and easily recognized use of stretch film.

Canned Beverages – This is a very common use for a stretch wrap. Loads are often heavy and tall, a stretch wrap is ideal for wrapping beverages. Beer and soda producers often use high-speed machines to wrap beverage pallet loads.

Clay Another heavy product often used with a heavy gauged stretch wrap.

Mulch – Many landscapers and lawn services use a heavy gauged film to wrap mulch. We have had some customers wrapping mulch with as thick as 150 ga. stretch wrap.

Furniture – Furniture is another very commonly wrapped item. Manufacturers and movers use stretch film to protect furniture during transportation and storage.

Medical Product – Medical products are often very light products. Many times a great option is pre-stretch film. A lighter more affordable film.

Tubing – Bundling film is often used around the ends of tubing to hold multiple tubes together.

Picture Frames – Bundling film and cardboard corner protectors work great to protect frames during transportation and storage.

Windows – Each individual window is wrapped to protect during transportation to the install point.

Live Trees & Plants – A great option to be used with our vented stretch film. The film allows the plants and trees to breathe during transport.
